Dinamo KAZAN pace up the game at the outset of the match tormenting Swiss defense with brisk attacks. But soon it seems like Kazan club jumped the gun. Ekaterina Gamova makes a weird mistake trying to cheat and the whole team looks thrown into confusion. As for Volero ZÜRICH its leader Olesia Rykhliuk is on the contrary finds some inspiration anchoring each Swiss attack. Dinamo KAZAN is forced to rush after its rival. However, it fails to tie the score up trying to catch up til the very end of the first set, which Volero ZÜRICH claims with confident 21:25 in favor of Switzerland club.

After error correction in the break time entirely different Dinamo KAZAN starts the ball rolling in the second set. Ekaterina Gamova is literarily unstoppable in attack. And if her stormy spikes do not bring points to Kazan team, she is masterfully backed up by Antonella Del Core at the other side. VOLERO is simply helpless and not being able to withstand such pressure makes one mistake after another, finally ending up the set with devastating 25:16 in Dinamo KAZAN’s favor.

Kazan fans are pleased with long and tense rallies at the outbreak of the third set and the whole game pretty much resembles the first match in Switzerland. The only difference is that it is much harder for Volero ZÜRICH to psych up after disastrous home rout. And the situation is just the opposite for Kazan team which keeps on pacing up the game leading 16:9 by the second technical break. That is the time when Swiss players managed to brace up. Kenia Carcaces Opon takes active lead in Volero after Olesia Rykhliuk slacks her performance. It is simply impossible to overhaul Dinamo KAZAN – 25:19.

Kazan girls have booked the tickets to Final Four of the 2014 CEV DenizBank Champions League - Women having claimed two sets. However, Swiss guests continue to resist for the sake of honor. Nonetheless, Volero ZÜRICH suffers from multiple mistakes under fierce attacks of Dinamo KAZAN and experiencing considerable pressure made by Kazan fans. Ekaterina Gamova has no fatigue and at the end of the match keeps on shooting terrific kills smashing the opponent just like in the beginning. 3-1 is logical outcome of the whole game, and Dinamo KAZAN qualifies to the Final Four for the second time in  its history.

Rishat Gilyazutdinov is already focused on the next round: "It should be noted first of all that Volero ZÜRICH has greatly improved all the facets since we crossed our ways in the prelims. In the first match it was difficult for us since we played quite late there and it made the away game even more challenging. But I am grateful to our girls because we sealed the match tonight and made it to the final. However, we coped only with the intermediate task".

Mira Golubovic, captain of Volero ZÜRICH says after match: "Dinamo KAZAN is a very strong team. I wish them good luck in the Final Four. But I'm still happy with the game. We have a very young team in terms of players’ age- and it has been a great experience for them. We now need to focus on the Swiss Championship to win it again so to play in the Champions League next year".
